We would just like to tell you how delighted we are with the new website which Queensborough Group have created for us; and with the excellent service and support we have received from you and your colleagues throughout the process. Although our old website was looking very dated, we were aprehensive about making a change thinking that the process would be expensive, time consuming and disruptive to our on-line presence. In fact we need not have worried because Queensborough have made it so easy, quick ( it was up and running in about 36 hours!) and excellent value for money. Our old website was content managed for us by a local firm. The Queensborough system, which came along with the new website is brilliant. It gives us complete control over our content and is so easy to use. We are really enjoying playing with it and keeping our website updated and refreshed. The fact that everything is linked to Q-book makes it completely synergistic and so simple to use. At first we had lots of questions and requests for tweaks here and there which were answered and dealt with promptly and without any fuss or additional cost. We've been using Q-Book for almost a year now, and find it so much easier to use than our previous channel manager. It has all the functions we need, plus some - we love the Q-Marketing feature, so simple to use and it gets results. Perhaps the best bit about Q-Book is the helpdesk. We feel that Q-Book provides what we want and need, and not what some whizz kid has dreamed up without any thought of what a hotel realistically needs.

I am really pleased that I chose Queensborough, not only have I got a new website but also I will be saving a few quid in the long run as I was paying Formoda a monthly fee, which after a year, I will be saving and have gained a new fresh updated website in the process. Everything has gone to plan in setting the website up (It looks fab !) and I know that I have been a real pain with my constant phoning and asking you to do this and that, but you kept your promise when selling me the site in that nothing seems to be too much trouble and the level of service is first class. I tend to moan when things go wrong but also believe in praise when things go right so please take this as the latter. Q-Pay Gateway - The Q-Pay system has saved us hours of paperwork. We no longer have to write invoices or process payments via a terminal which is incredibly time consuming. We also don’t need to worry about accessing card details for payments. We often had to write to guests if they entered the wrong details. Then we’d have the worry of where to store them once they’d sent them over to be PCI compliant. The new system lets the guest know as soon as they make the booking that it’s incorrect and they usually contact us at that point! We can safely enter their new details on the system without worrying. We have got rid of our terminals as it’s so easy to take balance payments. It’s saved us a fortune in rentals! We process the payment with the guest the night before departure and then print off or email them invoice. No more problems with the card terminal going flat, or not being able to use it because someone is on the phone or cards randomly being rejected. Wish we’d changed sooner.

Steve was great he has helped and advised me all the way through the process and I am delighted with the new web site, Jeff Leach again what a knowledgeable and helpful guy he has been very supportive and has sorted any IT issues that my old system had so that integration for new website went very smoothly. As a recently retired senior officer in the Fire service holding the position of senior professional standards and senior operations I have to say that I wished our IT staff were as efficient as these individuals. I have already started raising Queensborough Group to the attention of other guest and B&Bs in the area.

Q-Book Online Booking v3 - At the beginning we were quite overwhelmed by the enormity of the Q-Book System. However, we were amazed with the simple and easy to follow steps which Jenny set for us. Thereafter the set-up was ever so straight forward. Working with it has been a pleasure, as it all happens for us! The guidance provided and the make-up of the System made it really easy to use. Our business is quite small and would never require the enormous capabilities the System is capable of providing and navigating through was quite an insight into the powerful system it is. Navigation through Q-Book has to be the best part of this booking system, it is so easy to navigate as you get older technology just gets out of hand sometimes too much waffle, and we love this system. Bookings for our first year we were very presently surprised with the amount we paid and the bookings we received. Firstly the service that has been provided by everyone at q book has been excellent. You have given all of my staff your time and help guiding us round Q book. So we can get the best out of your system. When we take a booking by phone and enter the reservation on qbook if you have the customers email it will automatically send a confirmation to the customer. Previously we have always sent a written confirmation which can be up to 48 hours delayed. Our response is now instant, my staff are not spending time writing letters, we have cut down paper and postage. Emailing ourselves a confirmation we like too. Working with both Jeff and Ben was a real pleasure. When you talk to online computer people they can intimidate you and make you feel the job they are doing is extremely onerous and difficult and that is why they have to charge you such a lot of money. You charge a fair price for completing a website which we are extremely pleased with and you have put on everything that we asked without fuss .Customers when booking online have a better visual as to availability and when we are sold out so hopefully they can select another date. The changeover was easier than I expected mainly because of how helpful the staff were at q book. Overall the system is very user friendly and so are the people, I have recommended the system to other hoteliers and would be delighted to talk to other undecided hoteliers. Especially as my decision took nearly a year.

Q-Book Online Booking v3 - Support from the Queensborough Group Team was excellent and everyone is very friendly. Victoria was our main point of contact and she was able to answer all our (numerous) questions efficiently and offer solutions straightaway. Once we got the hang of it, it is quite easy to use. Although we still have to take a look at the Q-marketing aspect of it. We have had several bookings, we have also got into the habit of putting the full details in of any other bookings as we receive them, just need to take the time to put in all the details of bookings we received prior to Qbook. I have noticed with Qbook we get much more exposure on other sites plus Qbook is much more sophisticated and more user friendly for the guest. They can see a description, price and photo of each room prior to booking and it sits much better on our website. For us, it allows us to put in all the details of the customer for manual bookings, plus adding extras during their stay i.e. bar bill and to be able to generate an invoice for the guest. We have yet to see the advantage of emails sent after the guest stays as we are not open at the present time. Overall we are very pleased with the Q-book system and we are looking forward to getting up to speed as we get busier throughout the season.

Q-Book Online Booking - When setting up the system the support was good they were obviously very busy in answering the questions people were asking, sometimes you could not get through so had to wait for a ring back which was very quick. Setting up the items of sale was good you did not have to repeat entering the details all the time, a couple of clicks here and there and you had set up a different room so ease of use was good, you do feel in more control it what you are setting up and how you want things to be set up, navigation through the system is ok you just follow the line across going from left to right when you set things up and the drop down boxes are good easy to navigate.

Q-Book Online Booking - Support during setup was very good. Queries were always answered promptly and efficiently, reasonably easy to use once you get used to it! Some of the sections are not relevant to us, but I can see how they would benefit other larger hotels. The system is clearly set up for hotels which charge per room (as I am aware the majority of hotels probably do these days). We still charge per person, with half price being charged for children, however we have managed to work around this using the different Item set up available.

Q-Book Online Booking v3 - Q-Book is easy to use once you have felt your way around the site. We have total control of product and prices with some good features such as promotional codes. Navigation through the system takes a couple of days but soon get the hang of it. We find what we looking for through the booking system quickly. Already we have received bookings through Q-Book. We are more in control, not limited as to what I can offer as is the case with my former system, also less complicated. We are completely satisfied.


Q-Book Online Booking v3 - Q-book is working really well and we have had several bookings from it. Ease of use is great with Q-Book I have more control with Simple Navigation through the system also easy to find what you are looking for quickly. It's the only system I've tried, I tried this one because it looked so easy and because I can switch it off when I go away. I feel very satisfied with help I received from the system. In addition, it is commission free and at a very reasonable price to subscribe. It is easy to find your way through the system to setup the establishment.
