Queensborough are both affordable for smaller hotels and offer superior service. Our account manager, Sophie, will follow up on all requests and investigate all matters thoroughly and quickly. They are regularly updating their platform which leads me to expect even better things in the future. The nearest competitor was three times as expensive without anything material in the way of extra functionality that would be of importance to a smaller hotel. We have just started in the hotel business and their support so far has been invaluable. I can't give them anything but five stars, well done.

I have used q-book for about 4 years now. It integrates seamlessly with most of the major OTAs, meaning that I only need to update 1 diary. I have never had a double-booking. As well as a team to provide support and advice on routine matter, Amy, my account manager, is always there to help with anything out oc the ordinary when needed and nothing seems too much trouble. They offer a range of websites and will allow you to upgrade for a very reasonable fee rather than needing to pay for a brand new site every time and annual costs seem very reasonable.

We have been with Qbook for over 2 years now and the work they have put into the booking system has been outstanding, it was a good decision to leave the old system which we started on, the new system offers so much more , We are very happy customers. Setting up the system with photos of rooms, details and prices and using the widget on our website was strait forward and a really effective way of getting bussiness in, it saved us so much time answering the phone, and gave the booking in process to the customer. Through using the booking in website widget on our website, (a piece of coding to copy and paste into your website HTML code) this gave the customer the ability to see rooms, availability and to book. Customer service is very good, always quick to answer questions and sort out any problems that we are having difficulty with. Overall we have had a great experience with them, the most important thing to us was someone being on the end of the phone and this was met very well.

Maggie's Bed and Breakfast

I have been using qbook for a few years now for my bed and breakfast and it is one of the easiest systems to use, much easier than some of the more recognised booking companies. I would urge anyone to piggyback with qbook. The staff are terrific, they don't sit on their laurels and just take your money they are always looking at ways to assist your marketing but are not pushy with it either. The best bit is it's a flat fee and no commission. Keep up the good work guys.

I have used Q-books and one of their websites for twelve months now and will carry on with them. The reason I like the product so much is that the front end, the "widget" that the guest sees, is easy to use and make bookings directly from. The back end does lack a lot of useful features which I understand are being continuously improved. They are easily contactable by phone (hope this continues..big plus point for me). We would just like to tell you how delighted we are with the new website which Queensborough Group have created for us; and with the excellent service and support we have received from you and your colleagues throughout the process. Although our old website was looking very dated, we were aprehensive about making a change thinking that the process would be expensive, time consuming and disruptive to our on-line presence. In fact we need not have worried because Queensborough have made it so easy, quick ( it was up and running in about 36 hours!) and excellent value for money. We selected a standard template, wondering whether it would be able to reflect the individuality of our property and never imagining that the finished article could look so fantastic. Our old website was content managed for us by a local firm. The Queensborough system, which came along with the new website is brilliant. It gives us complete control over our content and is so easy to use. We are really enjoying playing with it and keeping our website updated and refreshed. The fact that everything is linked to Q-book makes it completely synergistic and so simple to use. At first we had lots of questions and requests for tweaks here and there which were answered and dealt with promptly and without any fuss or additional cost. Faultless service from everyone at Queensborough! Thank you Amy and thanks to all your colleagues at Queensborough who have helped us with this and produced such an excellent result.

I am new to the channel manager game and running a B&B so it was quite difficult in choosing which one to go with but i did keep coming back to this one. Like any of them i guess the initial set up takes a bit of time to work out but once it is sussed out its straight forward enough and if i can do it anyone can. I have found no problems with the staff when i call them, they are always polite and helpful and they have always sorted me out with any issues that i had. For us and our small 10 bed B&B the system is great and i like it and its good value for money. Of course they are always trying to improve things the same as anyone and it can only continue to improve. I am still finding my way around some of the parts to it but that's just learning. I also like being able to take card payments on this system which saves and additional cost of a card machine. So far i am not disappointed and would recommend them.

Q-Pay Gateway - The Q-Pay system has saved us hours of paperwork. We no longer have to write invoices or process payments via a terminal which is incredibly time consuming. We also donโ€™t need to worry about accessing card details for payments. We often had to write to guests if they entered the wrong details. Then weโ€™d have the worry of where to store them once theyโ€™d sent them over to be PCI compliant. The new system lets the guest know as soon as they make the booking that itโ€™s incorrect and they usually contact us at that point! We can safely enter their new details on the system without worrying. We have got rid of our terminals as itโ€™s so easy to take balance payments. Itโ€™s saved us a fortune in rentals! We process the payment with the guest the night before departure and then print off or email them invoice. No more problems with the card terminal going flat, or not being able to use it because someone is on the phone or cards randomly being rejected. Wish weโ€™d changed sooner.

As a recently retired senior officer in the Fire service holding the position of senior professional standards and senior operations I have to say that I wished our IT staff were as efficient as these individuals. Firstly the service that has been provided by everyone at q book has been excellent. You have given all of my staff your time and help guiding us round Q book. So we can get the best out of your system. When we take a booking by phone and enter the reservation on qbook if you have the customers email it will automatically send a confirmation to the customer. Previously we have always sent a written confirmation which can be up to 48 hours delayed. Our response is now instant, my staff are not spending time writing letters, we have cut down paper and postage. Emailing ourselves a confirmation we like too. Working with both Jeff and Ben was a real pleasure. When you talk to online computer people they can intimidate you and make you feel the job they are doing is extremely onerous and difficult and that is why they have to charge you such a lot of money. You charge a fair price for completing a website which we are extremely pleased with and you have put on everything that we asked without fuss .Customers when booking online have a better visual as to availability and when we are sold out so hopefully they can select another date. The changeover was easier than I expected mainly because of how helpful the staff were at q book. Overall the system is very user friendly and so are the people, I have recommended the system to other hoteliers and would be delighted to talk to other undecided hoteliers. Especially as my decision took nearly a year.

I looked at various booking systems before choosing the Queensborough Group as your software looked fairly straightforward and offered value for money with being commission free. All too often, internet companies make promises and then fail to deliver with either the product or their customer support but this is certainly not the case here. Victoria was our main point of contact and she was able to answer all our (numerous) questions efficiently and offer solutions straightaway. Once we got the hang of it, it is quite easy to use. We have had several bookings, we have also got into the habit of putting the full details in of any other bookings as we receive them, just need to take the time to put in all the details of bookings we received prior to Qbook. I have noticed with Qbook we get much more exposure on other sites plus Qbook is much more sophisticated and more user friendly for the guest. They can see a description, price and photo of each room prior to booking and it sits much better on our website. For us, it allows us to put in all the details of the customer for manual bookings, plus adding extras during their stay i.e. bar bill and to be able to generate an invoice for the guest. We have yet to see the advantage of emails sent after the guest stays as we are not open at the present time. Overall we are very pleased with the Q-book system and we are looking forward to getting up to speed as we get busier throughout the season.
